Take Business U.S. 33 (called Washington Street which Y's to the left at the first flashing light as Nelsonville is entered) to Fort Street (Center of town at square and light). Turn North (left) on Fort Street to Pleasantview Avenue (a narrow road approximately 1/4 mile up Fort Street) and turn right. Proceed on Pleasantview Avenue up the hill always bearing to the left. Pleasantview Avenue becomes Snake Hollow Road as road bears left (small sign points to HCF) and is joined by Snake Hollow Road from the right. Bearing left, continue up the hill to the entrance of the Hocking Correctional Facility.

Take Rt. 7 North to 2nd light (look for Rite Aid). Turn right at Rite Aid onto Main Street. At second light, turn right onto Rt. 20. Cross bridge and look for blue water tower on left (approximately 1.5 miles). This will be Thompson Road and the entrance to Lake Erie Correctional Institution (bear to left on entry road).

From Columbus or points East: Take I-70 West to Route 56. Head south or left off of Route 56. Go approximately two miles south on Rt. 56. You will see London Correctional Institution on the right hand side of the street and Madison Correctional Institution on the left-hand side of the street. Turn right at the driveway by the new Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Identification. Continue on this road about a 1/2 mile to the one-story brick building on your left located in front of the London Correctional Institution. This building formerly housed the old BCI& I prior to being turned over to DRC. It now houses the Training and Education Center. As you enter the front door, the main conference rooms are located on your right.
From Dayton or points West:
Take I-70 east to Route 56 the London exit, turn right onto Route 56. Continue south approximately 2 miles. Then follow above directions.
From Cincinnati or points South:
Take I- 71 North to the Mount Sterling/ London exit at Route 56. Turn left onto Route 56; follow this North through the town of London, approximately distance (8-10 miles). The Training and Education Center is north of the town of London approximately 2 miles. Look for the two institutions (London and Madison on opposite sides of the street) and the new three story BCI&I building. Turn left just past the Ohio Peace Officers Training Academy and before BCI&I.
