Warden Changes Announced

(Columbus) --- Reginald A. Wilkinson, Director of the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (DRC) today announced the re-assignment of Warden Margaret Bagley to the Richland Correctional Institution in Mansfield. She will be replacing Larry Seidner who is retiring after thirty-one years of state service.

Bagley, 37, was most recently the warden at the Lorain Correctional Institution (LorCI) in Grafton. She began her corrections career in 1986 with the Federal Correctional Institution in Ft. Worth, Texas as a warden’s assistant. Bagley started her employment with DRC at the Ohio Reformatory for Women as a food service coordinator in 1987. She has worked her way up through the ranks in a variety of positions including, social worker and deputy warden. In 1987, she received a Masters degree from Kent State University in Corrections.

Gary Croft, 35, will step into the warden’s position at LorCI replacing Bagley. Croft has been a deputy warden at Allen Correctional Institution in Lima since 1997. He began his career as a case manager at the Southeastern Correctional Institution in 1991. Croft holds Bachelors in Criminal Justice from Youngstown State University.
