Scheduled Execution of Roderick Davie, #253-718 (Columbus) – Officials at the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (DRC) have confirmed that inmate Roderick Davie, #253-718, is scheduled for execution on Tuesday, August 10, 2010, at 10:00 a.m.  The execution will take place at the Southern Ohio Correctional Facility located in Lucasville, Ohio.  The Ohio Revised Code mandates lethal injection as the manner of execution. Inmate Roderick Davie was convicted out of Trumbull County for the 1991 deaths of John Ira Coleman and Tracey Jeffreys.  The execution could be delayed if there are any pending legal actions in the courts.  BACKGROUND FACTS: Name:                                         Roderick Davie Race:                                          Black DOB:                                           10/6/71 Crime(s):                                     Agg.
