Clemency Report for Mark Brown

(Columbus) – The clemency report for Mark Brown, 320-827, will be sent to Governor Strickland’s office today.  The report will be available at 11:30 a.m.  The media can access the report by going to the following internet address:    http://www.drc.state.oh.us/Public/clemency.htm.                                               

Inmate Brown was convicted out of Mahoning County for the 1994 deaths of Isam Salman and Hayder Al Turk.  Inmate Smith is scheduled for execution on February 4, 2010.
