(Columbus) – Officials at the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction have confirmed that inmate James Filiaggi, #311180, is scheduled for execution on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. The execution will take place at the Southern Ohio Correctional Facility located in Lucasville, Ohio. The Ohio Revised Code mandates lethal injection as the manner of execution.
Filiaggi was convicted and sentenced to death for the January 24, 1994 Aggravated Murder of Lisa Filiaggi, Lorain County.
