The Turtle Creek Branch operates on the grounds of the Warren Correctional Institution (WCI) located in Lebanon, Ohio. The institution serves over 1400 close security inmates. The WCI Turtle Creek Branch is proud to commit to the following educational programs:
Each of the Turtle Creek Branch programs offers students a volumes of information and educational materials to help the offender improve skills and prepare for the future. During the annual Shared Service Area Four (SSA 4) retreat, teachers facilitated workshops to cover education/institutional processes:
Performance Evaluation Goals During the SSA 4 Recognition of Retirees, Nedda Brown, Teacher; and Mary Schopmeyer, the Guidance Counselor; were honored for their years of service and dedication to the Ohio Central School System.
The WCI educational programs are designed to help students transition from the institution to the community. The Turtle Creek Branch administrators, support staff and teachers are consummate professionals as well as recognized leaders in the field of correctional education.
